Sendai-shi was taken down. Everything in it happened over 50 years ago and the people who remembered were as old as me or older and in Japan, a lot of old guys, don't use computers so the number of visitors got so low it was no longer worth the trouble to keep it going. All of the pictures are in the Sendai City Museum of History and Folklore.

I remember trees like these in bloom a long time ago and this one looks very old. You can see me on Iwo Jima if you look.

I saw a cherry blossom tree at Central Park this weekend and I was so happy. But it was just ONE tree.

This is a really nice picture of the sakura at night.
I have tried to get a good shot of them at night myself, but find that I get too drunk at the 花見 party to be creative.
